Mandeep Singh, beloved husband of Archana Prabhudesai, and loving father of Rohan and Keira passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday February 25, 2020 at the age of 47.
Mandeep, son of Surinder Kaur and Mohinder Singh, was born and brought up in Chandigarh, India. He lived in United States for over 20 years with his family. He held a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, India and MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. He had a successful career that included holding progressive positions in MNCs like Morgan Stanley, UBS, CitiBank and most recently he was the VP – Head of Portfolio Credit Risk Management & Reporting at Citizens Bank.
Mandeep’s most precious possession was his beautiful family that he built out of pure love with Archana. Mandeep loved spending time with his children and enriching them in amazing educational experiences. In his spare time, he loved playing squash, had a passion for travel and was an avid health buff. Mandeep was charismatic, quick to connect, an exceptionally brilliant individual and a man of intellectual pursuits. His approachable personality instantly endeared him to all.
A loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, he will be immensely missed. Mandeep will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Archana, his son Rohan and daughter Keira, his parents Mohinder and Surinder, his sister Navjot, brother Gurminder, mother-in-law Leena, brother-in-law Ashish, family and friends.
A Visitation and funeral service followed by cremation will be held on Saturday February 29th 2020, from 12:00 PM -2:00 PM at the Nicholas F Cognetta Funeral Home, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT. Cremation will be a family affair. Friends are welcome to the Sikh ceremony, that will be held after the cremation at Guru Tegh Bahudar Ji Foundation at 622 West Ave, Norwalk, CT 06850.
