Margaret “Maggi” Foster Agostino, 86, of Stamford, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday October 20, 2015. Margaret was born in Stamford on October 2, 1929 to the late John and Nancy McCall Foster.
Margaret was a member of the Holy Spirit Women’s Guild as well as a resident of Stamford and Jacksonville, FL.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband, of sixty five years, Frank J. Agostino, of Stamford, her daughter Leslie Mary Agostino of Jacksonville, FL and her son John Agostino and his wife Barbara, of Jacksonville, FL, as well as her two grandchildren; Caroline Elizabeth Agostino and Matthew Foster Agostino.
Besides her parents, Margaret is predeceased by her son Mark Foster Agostino.
A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Saturday October 24, 2015 at 9:30AM and proceed to St. Cecilia RC Church, 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday October 23, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00PM.
