Margaret L. “Peggy” Greene, born June 25, 1921, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Tandet Center in Stamford. She was 88. She was a resident of Stamford for fifty five years.
She is survived by two sons: Jimmy Green and his wife Theresa of Bridgeport; and Charlie Green and his wife Debbie of Stamford; nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Monday, October 26 from 4:00 �" 6:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
