Maria Angela Angelina Denardo

Mariangela �"Angelina DeNardo, 93, passed away on Monday August 14, 2006 at her home in Stamford. Born May 2, 1913 in Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Rosa Filardo Ida.
She was a retired laundry worker at Stamford Hospital for forty years and was also a parishioner at Sacred Heart RC Church, where she was the organizer for the annual St. Michaels Feast Day celebrated every first Sunday of September.
She is survived by her daughter, Maria Teresa DAgostino and her husband Francesco of Stamford; a son, James DeNardo of Stratford; a son, Francesco DeNardo and his wife Donna of Rhode Island; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Vincenzo DeNardo; a son, Vincenzo DeNardo; two brothers, Michele and Domenicantonio Ida; and five sisters, Maria Teresa Lanzetta, Rosaria Agostino, Caterina Stramandinoli, Antoinetta Larobina, and Francesca Calabrese.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, at 8:40 AM on Thursday August 17, 2006 and proceed to Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM. Entombment will then follow at St. Johns Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday August 16, 2006 from 4:00 8:00PM.
