Maria G. Cucco-Curry, 60, of Stamford passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Stamford Hospital. She was born in Settefrati, Italy on July 2, 1958 to the Antonio and Lucia Macari-Cucco.
Maria was an assistant food preparer at Sodexo and For Dunkin Donuts
She is survived by her devoted husband, Kelly Curry, her loving children, Jeremiah, Melisha and Joyce Curry, a brother Sergio Cucco and her mother Lucia Cucco, all of Stamford, as well as two grandchildren Miah Curry and Gavin Kingwood. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Besides her father, Antonio Cucco, Maria is also predeceased by a sister Teresa Ferrajina and a brother Pasquale Cucco.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford at 8:40 AM on Friday, December 28, 2018 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
