Maria Lourdes Delvecchio

Maria Lourdes DelVecchio, 77, died on Saturday April 29, 2006 at Richard Rosenthal Hospice Residence. She was born in Acushnet, Mass. on August 17, 1928 to the late Cristovao and Carma Amaral Ferreira.
Maria was a finance manager for Discala Associates/Sedona Group for over 38 years until her retirement in January 2006.
She is survived by her husband, Carl J. DelVecchio of Stamford; a daughter, Judith Boenigk of Pittsburgh, PA; a son, Bob Costa of Venice, FL; a nephew, Phil Rose of East Freetown, Mass; and a grandson, Richard Boenigk of New York City.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Delfina Rose.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday May 2, 2006 at St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Monday May 1, 2006 from 6:00 8:00 PM.
