Maria Fasoli

Maria F. “Red” Fasoli, 88, formerly of Stamford, passed away on October 18, 2009, in Dallas, GA. Born in Queens, NY on July 25, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Palma Lemondola Pellitteri.
Maria is survived by three daughters, Patricia Ann Pascarelli of GA, Donna Raus & her husband John of Stamford, and Janet Perretta & her husband Dominick of Stamford; a son, Daniel A. Fasoli of GA; eleven grandchildren, Dannielle Burns, Leif & Deana Terjesen, Jonette, Philip, Donny, John & Joseph Raus, and Michael, Ashley & Daniel Perretta; and two great-grandchildren, Annamarie Lonas and John Daniel Burns.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Daniel E. Fasoli; a brother, Tommy Pellitteri; and two sisters, Santa Vassallo and Josephine Pironti.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, from 4:00 �" 8:00 PM.
A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Thursday, October 22 at 8:45 AM and proceed to Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Norwalk.
