Marianne Pia, a former resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on Monday, May 19, 2025 at the age of 63. Marianne was born in Stamford on March 19, 1962, daughter of the late Michael Anthony and Susan Theresa Morano Pia.
Marianne thoroughly enjoyed life and was so full of life. She had an infectious genuine smile that she shared with everyone she met and was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. She adored her family and friends and any chance she got to spend time with them, she was there. Whether sitting on the floor playing Jacks, coloring, sitting at the beach, poolside, or just hanging out, Marianne always enjoyed her time spent with her friends and family. She took great pride in bringing people together through her holiday parties, and if you were there, you had a part in the “Twelve days of Christmas”, no escaping!! She loved laughing and having a good time. She was always the first one on the dance floor. Her simplistic elegance was displayed in all she did. Her joy and reverence for life was felt by all. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Marianne is survived by her three sisters, Rosalie Casella (Nick) of Georgia, Toni D’Ariano and Michele Thomas both of New Jersey. Her cherished nieces and nephews Michael Casella (Kim), Danielle Smith (Greg), Frank D’Ariano (Jodie), Susan Pernetti (Chris), Mary Vobecky (Jan), Chris D’Ariano (Daniela), Isiah & Joshua Thomas.
