Marie Victoria Mason, 69, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born in Norwalk on February 23, 1943 to late Eugene Creato and Louise Ferrucci Creato Vacca.
Marie was a graduate of Boston University and worked for the City of Stamford as the Senior Outreach Commissioner for seventeen years.
Marie is survived by her daughter Victoria Mason of Stamford, CT, her son Mark Mason of Stamford, CT, her sister Louise Etes of Monroe, CT, two step-sons, Greg Mason of Norwalk, CT and Adam Mason of Switzerland, as well as several nieces and nephews and her beloved felines, Cassie and Riley.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave. Stamford, CT on Wednesday August 1, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:20 AM on Thursday August 2, 2012 and proceed to St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien.
