Marie C. Passero

Marie C. Passero, 91, passed away on Tuesday August 22, 2006 at Stamford Hospital. Born February 15, 1915 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Angela Racaniello Mennona of Castelgrande, Italy.

She was a homemaker and was much loved by and devoted to her family. She was also a long time parishioner of St. Mary’s RC Church in Stamford.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Passero and his wife Peggy of Lutz, FL; two daughters, Angela Passero; Rae Conant and her husband George, all of Stamford; four grandchildren, Lainie Passero of Lutz, FL; Joseph Passero and his wife Leslie of Wesley Chapel, FL; Eileen Wargo and her husband Steve of Norwalk; Kevin Conant of Stamford; five great grandchildren, Dylan, Jack and Carson Passero of Wesley Chapel, FL; and Kelly and Sarah Wargo of Norwalk; a sister, Anna Farina of Tampa, FL; and a brother, Joseph Mennona of Brookfield, CT.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Carmen Anthony Passero; two brothers, Patrick and Anthony Mennona; and two sisters, Theresa Racaniello and Lucy Mennona.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday August 26, 2006 at St. Mary’s RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford. Interment will be private. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, is in charge of arrangements. www.cognetta.com
