Marie Russo

Marie J. Russo, 81, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at her home in Stamford. Born March 24, 1927 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucille Nasco Coniglio.
Marie was a secretary for Ralph D. Russo Plumbing and Heating Inc. for twenty five years. She was a loving mother and her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Albert R. Russo; and Frank R. Russo and his wife, Lorraine of Norwalk; two sisters, Theresa LoBuglio and Frances Bobinski of FL; and a brother, John Coniglio and his wife Helen of Oxford, CT. Three grandchildren: Jennifer Schulte, Jeffrey Russo and Scott Russo; and three great grandchildren: Summer Schulte, Spencer Schulte and Alyssa Russo; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ralph D. Russo; and a sister, Helen Bobinski.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Friday, March 20 from 4:00 �" 8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 9:20 AM on Saturday, March 21 and proceed to St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Darien.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice, 1029 East Main Street, Stamford, CT 06902 or St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902.
