Marie Wuchiski
April 11, 1923 — July 7, 2015
Marie T. Wuchiski ,92, formerly of Stamford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Cambridge Manor in Fairfield. She was born on April 11, 1923 in Stamford to the late Anthony and Josephine Caporizzo Russo.
Marie was a member of the Lucky Seven Club in Stamford for seventy five years. She loved to entertain in her home for her family and friends.
Marie is survived by her loving children, Walter A. Wuchiski and his wife Barbara of Fairfield and Kathleen Sacco and her husband Henry of GA, a brother Ralph Russo and his wife Evelyn of Shelton, as well as six grandchildren, Eric Wuchiski and his fiancé Andrea Steuer, Jenna Petiprin and her husband Tony, Jason Wuchiski and his wife Erica, Adam Sacco and his wife Marci, Amy Towe, Scott Sacco and his wife Mary and also twelve great grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her husband Walter G. Wuchiski and a brother Anthony Russo.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 8:50 AM for a Mass of Christian to be celebrated at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
