Marion G DeNicola, 95 of Stamford, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Stamford on March 20, 1931, to the late Ralph and Stella Greco Yorfino.
Marion was a woman of strong traditional values; who’s greatest joy was her family. Her love was expressed in countless ways, but perhaps most memorably through the wonderful meals and desserts she lovingly prepared for holidays, family gatherings and special occasions. After everyone had enjoyed one of her delicious meals, Marion would often sit at the piano and play for all to enjoy, filling the home with music and creating memories that her family will cherish forever. A remarkably hardworking woman, Marion spent many years by the side of her beloved husband Skippy working together in their various food establishments. They were especially well known for their operation of Continental Manor in Norwalk, CT where they took great pride in treating their customers like family and making every wedding, celebration, and family gathering a truly special and memorable occasion.
She had a wonderful zest for life and loved traveling throughout the country and to Europe with her dear friends known as the “Cocoon Club”.
Marion will be remembered for her unconditional love, her generous heart, wonderful cooking, and most of all the love and memories she created with the family she cherished so deeply. Her love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was immeasurable, and her legacy will live on through each of them.
