Martha Scalero

Martha E. Scalero, 79, of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday April 27, 2014 at Long Ridge of Stamford. She was born on January 14, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Henry and Elva Sykes Meisburger.
Martha is survived by her loving children, Thomas Scalero and his wife Rita of Stamford, Anna Girardi and her husband George of Stamford, Daniel Scalero and his wife Linda of Stamford, Joseph Scalero of FL, Linda Kral and her husband David of NY, two brothers Peter and William Meisburger, a sister Elva Daly of PA, twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Thomas A.Scalero,two brothers, Henry Jacob and Charles McDonald and a sister Betsy Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Martha’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
