Mary �"Sheila Altamirano, 65, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at her home in Greenwich. Born November 23, 1940 in England, she was the daughter of the late John and Emily Laird OBrien.
She was an avid tennis player and was self-employed as a housekeeper.
She is survived by two daughters, Tina Monick and Sonia Lagano; two sons, Alberto and Antonio Altamirano, all of Greenwich; six grandchildren, Brandylee Delaguerra; Damian Monick; Derek Monick; Dominic Monick, Jr.; Dylan Monick; and Dustin Monick; and one great granddaughter, Kayla Kai Delaguerra.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at St. Roch RC Church, 10 St. Roch Avenue, Greenwich, CT 06830. Interment will follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Greenwich. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. www.cognetta.com
