Mary Draeger

Mary E. Draeger, 83 of Orange, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2010 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born on December 16, 1926 in Caribou, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Marie Theriault Parent. She was a retired employee of Stamford Hospital.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Donna M. Terentino and Alex Terentino of South Carolina; her two sons, Brent M. Draeger and his wife Nena of Arizona and Dana C. Draeger and his wife Kathy of Orange; her sister, Grace Iogha of Iowa; her brother, Joseph Parent and his wife Joyce of Derby; five grandchildren, Denise Terentino, Alex Terentino, Jr., Ryan, Christopher and Dennis Draeger; and one great-grandchild, Gabriel Terentino.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her sister, Eva Gesualdi and her brother, Louis Parent.
A funeral procession will leave the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 9:20AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at St. Mary RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Darien, CT. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday, April 16, 2010 from 4:00-8:00PM.
