Mary Giordano
October 21, 1917 — April 14, 2017
Mary Giordano, 99, a longtime Stamford resident passed on to spirit on Friday, April 14, 2017. She was born in Stamford on October 21, 1917 to the late Carl and Josephine Piccinino Boccadoro.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters Angela Barosky and her husband Stan of Cabot, VT, where Mary lived for the past twelve years, and Carol Gular and her husband Jack of Southbury, CT. She also leaves her four grandchildren, Christopher Barosky, Lauren O’Neil (Sean), Ashley Rygiel (Rob), Derek Gular (Erin) and three great grandchildren, Liam and Logan O’Neil and Norah Rygiel, as well as many extended family members.
In honor of Mary’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A Graveside service will be held for family and friends at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Mary’s memory to VNA Respite House, 3113 Roosevelt Highway, Colchester, VT 05446.
