Mary Vassallo

Mary Vassallo, 95, of Stamford passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Stamford Hospital. She was born on October 8, 1917 in Stamford to the late Caesar and Cornelia Colarossi Latte.
Mary was employed as an Electronic Assembler at CBS Laboratories in Stamford for many years before her retirement.
She is survived by her loving children Carol Roberto and her husband Richard of Shelton, CT, Charles Vassallo , Jr. and his wife Beverly of Oxford, CT, Cornelia Vassallo of Stamford, six grandchildren Marc and Brian Roberto, Merrianne Vassallo, Leslie Alldredge and her husband Jason, Kyle and Lauren Vassallo. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband Charles Vassallo, five sisters and two brothers.
A funeral procession will be leaving The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 3:00-7:00 PM.
