Mary Volpe

Mary Volpe, 93, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2009. Born in Utica, NY, on February 15, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Vincenza Geramino Pensiero.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Angela Lovallo of North Carolina; two brothers, John Pensiero and Joseph T. Pensiero, Sr., both of Stamford; a sister, Rose Golino of Norwalk; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Americo Volpe; and two sisters, Lena Bonis and Angie Ganino.
Friends are asked to meet at St. Johns Mausoleum, Darien, on Thursday, January 15, 2009, where a service will be held at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow.
