Maryann Gallagher

Maryann Gallagher, 52 of Holmes, New York, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Danbury Hospital. Born on February 15, 1958 in Stamford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Ralph F. and Joan MacEntee Gallagher.
Maryann worked for the Cornerstone Bank in Stamford as a Bookkeeper for 15 years before retiring in 2006 and was also a former employee of Fidelity Bank in Stamford. Maryann was known for her love of all animals.
Maryann is survived by her long-time companion, Clint Dickenson of Holmes, NY; one sister, Kathleen Jones and her husband James of Norwalk; her four brothers, Joseph Gallagher and his wife Rosemary of Staten Island, NY, John Gallagher of Stamford, Charles Gallagher and his wife Kathleen of Fairport, NY, and Thomas Gallagher and his wife Michelle of Fairport NY; her step mother, Marguerite Gallagher of Sarasota, FL. Also surviving are seven nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 10:00AM at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory,104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. Interment will follow at St. John RC Cemetery, Darien, CT. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 4:00-8:00PM.
