Matthew J. Unnever, Jr., 67, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at his home in Milford. Born on August 26, 1942 in Stamford, he was the son of the late Matthew J. and Hilda Macchio Unnever, Sr. He was a plumber for many years with the Local Union #777.
Matthew is survived by his wife, Louella Iodice Unnever, his daughter Danielle Unnever Perkins and her husband Ricky of Bethel, his son Joseph Samuel Unnever of Woodbury, three grandchildren, Tianna, Anthony and Maliyah Perkins, and his sister Carolyn Unnever of Mico, Florida
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11:00AM at St. Cecilia Church, 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT 06905. Interment will follow at King's Highway Cemetery, Chery Street, Milford, Connecticut 06460. Friends may call on Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 4:00-8:00PM at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, Connecticut 06902.
