Michael F. Cummings

Michael F. Cummings, 56, died suddenly on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Stamford Hospital. Born February 3, 1951 in Stamford, he was the son of the late Francis X. and Blanche K. Kersten Cummings.
Michael was self-employed in TV Production for the past two and a half years. He won two Emmy Awards: ABC News Millenium Celebration (2000) and NBC News Olympic Games from Utah.
He is survived by is wife, Frances T. Cummings of Norwalk; a sister, Nancy L. Cummings of Longneck, DE; Uncle and Aunt, Edward and Dorothy Kersten of Beacon Falls, CT; Aunt and Uncle, Louise and Fred Tucciarone of Poughauq, NY. A niece, two nephews and several cousins also survive.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 5:00 8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 10:20 AM on Thursday, October 4, 2007 and proceed to St. Marys RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Johns Cemetery in Darien.
