Michael Hudak
October 11, 1948 — March 15, 2016
Michael T. Hudak, 67, a lifelong Stamford resident, passed away at his home on March 15, 2016. Michael was born in Stamford on October 11, 1948 to the late Michael J. and Helen Sandor Hudak.
Michael served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Most of Michael’s working life was spent with Connecticut Light & Power in the Power Maintenance Division. He was a voracious baseball and boxing fan.
Michael is survived by his sister Carol DiSette and her husband Joseph of Stamford, his nephew and niece, Matthew DiSette of Ridgefield and his fiancé Karen Peckingham of Branford and Susan DiSette Kolesar and her husband Donald of Stamford, his aunts and uncles, Anne Bialack of Branford, Rudolph Sandor and his wife Mary Ann of New Canaan and Rita Sandor of Stamford, as well as several cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday March 29, 2016 at St. Benedict’s RC Church, 1 St. Benedict Circle, Stamford, CT at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien. There will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
