Michael Frank Saverine, 60, a lifelong resident of Darien, passed away on Saturday September 12, 2015. Michael was born in Stamford, CT on August 18, 1955 to Frank and Gloria DeRosa Saverine.
Michael graduated Darien High School Class of 1975; he was a devoted New York Rangers fan and an avid cook.
Michael is survived by his mother Gloria Saverine, of Darien and his sister Sue Saverine and her husband Scott, of Atlanta, GA.
Michael is predeceased by his father Frank Saverine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday September 18, 2015 at 10:00AM at St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, CT. Entombment will follow at St. John’s Mausoleum, St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. There will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the Saverine family with the arrangements.
