Michael Vigliotti
August 26, 1931 — July 25, 2012
Michael James Vigliotti, 80, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 25th, 2012. A lifelong resident of Stamford, he was born on August 26, 1931 to the late Vincent Vigliotti and Nancy Santo Sica.
Michael attended Stamford High School, and then enlisted in the United States Army where he served from 1949 to 1954. Returning from the service he married his wife of 58 years Mary Pistininzi and began working for Conde Nast until its closing in 1963. He then began working for the City of Stamford, where he worked until his retirement with over 30 years of service. His greatest pride and pleasure was his family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Mary Pistininzi Vigliotti of Stamford. Their son Michael Vigliotti and his wife Andrea of Stamford. A granddaughter Megan and a grandson Michael Vigliotti both of Stamford. A half sister Madeline Rybnick and a half brother Sam Sica both of Norwalk, CT. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Michael is pre-deceased by a sister Cecilia Licciardo, a brother Domenick Vigliotti and a sister Madeline Bria.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 28th, 2012 at 9:00AM at the Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien, CT
