Mildred Ariano

Mildred J. Ariano, 88, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2009. Born in New York, NY on June 1, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Margaret Chiarella Carlucci.
Mildred graduated from Stamford High School Class of 1938. She was a retired bookkeeper having worked for various companies in Stamford.
She is survived by a son Richard & his wife Linda of Trumbull; a daughter Rita & her husband John of Florida; a brother Joseph & his wife Linda Carlucci of Florida; her in-laws, Theresa Carlucci of Stamford, Josephine Ariano of Stratford, Marie Ariano of Oxford, and Carmine & his wife Grace Ariano of Seymour; and her cousins, Robert & his wife Dot Bondi of Norwalk, and Fred Bondi of Norwalk. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Aniello “Al” Ariano; a sister, Catherine Caselli; and two brothers, Frank & Peter Carlucci.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford, on Friday, May 22, 2009 at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Stamford. There will be no calling hours.
