Mildred Katleman, 90, of Stamford, CT and a former resident of New York City and Beverly Hills, California passed away peacefully at her home in Stamford on Monday, December 3, 2012. She was born in New York City on March 5, 1922 to the late Otto and Florence Shedlin Halbreich. She was a loving and radiant force in the lives of all who knew her.
Mildred is survived by her loving children, Sanford L. Herzfeld and his wife Audrey and Patricia Vanderleun ,both of New York City and five loving grandchildren, Meredith, Morrison, Joanna, Jason and Justine, and her great grandson Miles.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902.
