Niki Skiadas
February 5, 1941 — March 15, 2013
Niki Skiadas,72,of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Stamford Hospital. She was born on February 5, 1941 in Greece to the late Christos and Demitra Psychopedas.
She is survived by her sons Paul Skiadas and his wife Traci of Stamford, Chris Skiadas and his wife Erica of Norwalk; three sisters Euginia Stavrianos and her husband Stelios , Helen Mazarakos and her husband Kostas and Patricia Psychopedas all of Stamford including her sister in law Barbara Psychopedas of Stamford ,two grandchildren Paul James “PJ” and Alexi Nicole Skiadas and several nieces and nephews .
Niki was very dedicated with the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Stamford.
Besides her parents, Niki was predeceased by her brother Peter Psychopedas.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home& Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Trisagion to be celebrated at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Woodland Place, Stamford.
