Noreen Wilgus

Noreen F. Wilgus, 85, a longtime resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on September 27, 2017. Noreen was born in Greenwich, CT on April 30, 1932, daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine Todd Kohut.
Noreen had a strong work ethic, she was diligent and conscientious, made apparent by her retirement of a mere 10 days before her passing. She had a love for animals, and was a blessing to us all.
Noreen is survived by her loving son Drew Wilgus and his wife Jennifer of Stamford, a sister Patricia Grassi of Fairfield, and a cherished granddaughter Laura Wilgus of Stamford, along with many other loved ones.
Besides her parents Noreen is predeceased by her beloved husband Stanly A. Wilgus, and her three sisters Dorothy, Eileen, and Maureen.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. A Prayer Service will be held the following morning, Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 11:30AM at the Funeral Home.
