Norman P. Senecal, 56, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Stamford Hospital on Monday, December 22, 2008. Born on April 20, 1952 in Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Edward and Pearl Senecal.

Norman worked for Allied Barton as security manager and was Dock Master at Cummings Marina. He was also an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 22 years, Linda Senecal; his four daughters: Katina Wargo and her husband Steve of Norwalk, Kimberly Senecal and her fiancé Derrick Yanez of Stamford, Kristy Senecal of Florida, and Cindi Gioia and her husband Richard of Stamford; Four grandchildren: Tyler Smith, Alyssa and Gavyn Gioia, and Markus Yanez. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Marian Stone & Guy Esposito, who were a huge part of his life and care; along with Martha Pagan, whom he loved just like one of his daughters; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his sister, Carol O’Brien of Massachusetts; and brother, Ricky Senecal of Stamford.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Edward & Richard Senecal.

Services and interment are private. There will be no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, is handling the arrangements.
