Oscar S. Rosero, 85, of Stamford, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 1, 2017. He was born in Colombia on September 2, 1932 to the late Simon and Colombia Rosero.
Oscar is survived by his devoted wife, Adela Casahuaman Rosero of Stamford, his loving children, Lillemor Rosero of Sweden, Tina Bonfils of CA, James Nydahl of Sweden and Brian Rosero of Norwalk, as well as his grandson, Max Bonfils and his twin granddaughters, Penelope and Lily Rosero.
Besides his parents, Oscar was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 8:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 AM at St. Benedict’s RC Church, 1 St. Benedict Circle, Stamford. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Oscar’s memory to the American Lung Association of CT, 45 Ash Street, East Hartford, CT 06108
