Panagiotis (Peter) Moshovitis, 65, died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at Norwalk Hospital. Born July 22, 1942 in Georgitsion, Sparta, Greece, he was the son of the late Sarantos and Stavroula Petrakis Moshovitis.
Peter was self-employed in his own maintenance business.
He is survived by two brothers, Dennis Moshovitis of Stamford; and Ted Moshovitis of Stamford; an Aunt, Olga Brousales of New York City; and several cousins and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Thursday, October 4, 2007 from 4:00 8:00 PM with a prayer service being held at 7:30 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 10:20 AM on Friday, October 5, 2007 and proceed to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Reverend Constantine Mathews officiating.
