Pasquale Scicchitano

Pasquale S. Scicchitano, 68, of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Stamford Hospital. He was born in Girifalco, Italy on April 9, 1950 to the late Cosimo and Caterina Migliazza Scicchitano.
Pasquale proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1969 until 1971, when he was discharged from injuries while on duty.
Pasquale is survived by his devoted wife of forty- three years, Angela Greto Scicchitano of Stamford, his loving sons, Agostino S. Scicchitano and his wife Holly Jo of FL and Paul Scicchitano and his wife Marinella of Stamford, as well as a sister, Paola S. Ferraina of Darien and three brothers, Vincenzo Scicchitano and his wife Caterina of Norwalk, Agostino Scicchitano of Stamford and Luigi Scicchitano and his wife Angela of Stamford. Also surviving are his five grandchildren, Vincenzo, Giovanni, Sofia, Paul and Matteo.
Besides his parents, Pasquale was predeceased by his brother in law Rocco Ferraina and his sister in law Lucy Scicchitano.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Maurice RC Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
