Pasqualina Zaza

Pasqualina Zaza, 97, of Stamford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2008. She was born on April 22, 1911 in Minturno, Italy.
Pasqualina is survived by a daughter, Josephine and Sam Cardillo of Stamford; a daughter-in-law, Mary Zaza of Stamford; one grandson, Pat Cardillo; five granddaughters, Angela and John Calicchio, Lena and Nick Casinelli, Lucy and Michael Tsiahouridis, Jennifer Zaza, and Amy Zaza; as well as nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Geraldo Zaza; and her son, Saverio Zaza.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Wednesday, September 17 at 9:15 AM and proceed to Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Johns Mausoleum, Darien.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 16 from 4-8 PM.
