Pat T. DeBlasi, 88, died on Monday, November 2, 2009 at Maefair Health Care, Trumbull. Born on September 5, 1921 in Stamford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late John and Palmania Farascioni DeBlasi.

Mr. DeBlasi was a store manager, working for Caldor for 30 years. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII. He was a member of the Stamford Musician Union, playing in the Bob Button Band, and was a Member of the Warton Ford Orchistra.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie J. and her husband George Tonning of Shelton, son, Brian D. and his wife Charlene DeBlasi of Wallingford, and brother, John DeBlasi of Stamford. As well as six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his wife Rose M. Romito, and brother, Arthur DeBlasi.

Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, November 4, 2009, from 4:00-8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 10:20 AM on Thursday, November 5, and proceed to St. Cecilia’s RC Church, 1184 Newfield Ave, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at St. John’s RC Mausoleum, Darien.
