Patricia Manna, a loving wife, mother and grandmother who joyfully devoted her life to caring for her family, passed away on October 26, 2026.

Born in Girifalco, Calabria, Italy, Patricia immigrated to the United States in 1947 with her beloved mother, Paula, and her cherished sisters, Rose and Mary. Upon arrival, she was finally reunited with her father, Dominic, who had come to America nine years earlier seeking work through Roosevelt’s New Deal programs and later earned his citizenship through military service in World War II. Patricia lived the American Dream and deeply loved this country for the opportunities it gave her and her family.

She attended Mother of God Academy, where she cherished her time with the Nuns and developed a deep and lifelong love for Jesus Christ and His mother, Mary. Faith remained at the center of her life. Throughout her life, Patricia quietly donated countless small amounts to Catholic Charities around the world. In retirement, she started each day by praying the Rosary for her family and friends.

Patricia worked at American Cyanamid, The Coppola Shop, and St. Joseph Hospital, and for many years babysat the children of teachers at KT Murphy School. Those parents were often amazed by the wonderful aroma of the dinners she prepared that greeted them at pickup time.

She was a devoted wife to her loving husband, Silvio, for 58 years, who proposed shortly after their first date at Dunkin Donuts. She was predeceased by her sister Rose Migliazza and her husband John, Her brothers in law Mario Spagnuolo and Giuseppe Manna. She is survived by her husband, Silvio; her daughters Linda Karpowich and her husband Matt, Gloria Manna and her husband Anthony Scaturchio, Tina Calorossi and her husband James; and her six grandchildren, Emma, Mia, Toni, Silvio, Sophia, and James; Her sister, Mary, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind two poodles she frequently babysat and adored, Figs and Snoop.
