Patricia Ann Smith Fair
January 28, 1942 — July 26, 2008
Patricia Ann Smith Fair, 66, of Stamford, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully Sat. July 26, 2008 surrounded by her family. Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Agnes Smith.
Mrs. Fair graduated St. Vincent Ferrer High School in 1959. She made a career working as a secretary for several companies, including Sterling Drug, Weck, and Continental Plastic Containers where she met her husband Thomas. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, Irish music, crafts, traveling, mysteries, and holidays especially Christmas, and most of all her family whom she loved very much.
Mrs. Fair was a Stamford resident since 1976 and a longtime parishioner of St. Bridget of Ireland Church in Stamford.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas A. Fair of Stamford; a daughter, Amanda K. Micklus and her husband Chris of Orange, CT; a daughter, Susan E. Fair and her fiancé Desmond Bohan of Stamford; and a son, James C. Fair of Stamford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Ave. Stamford. All friends are asked to meet directly at church at 11:00 AM for the Mass on Thursday morning. Interment will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, North Street, Greenwich.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford on Wed. July 30, 2008 from 4-7 PM.
