Patricia Ann Sullivan

Patricia Slyker Sullivan of Stamford passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the age of 87.

Patricia was a graduate of Stamford High School, Class of 1956, and married shortly thereafter to Eugene Sullivan.

Patricia was a foster mother for several years after which she earned her LPN license from J. M. Wright Technical School and dedicated over 40 years to nursing until her retirement in 2002. After her retirement, her passion for caring for others continued as she worked as a private duty nurse.

Patricia is survived by her 3 grandchildren, Charlie Sullivan, Chris Strearne, and Karen Lewis; her daughter, Anna; her daughter-in-law Jill; and son-in-law Dave. She was pre-deceased by her husband and three of her children - Eugene, Coleen, and Diana.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford. A private committal service will be held at a future date.
