Patricia Young

Patricia Piedrahita Young, 75, a longtime resident of Stamford passed away peacefully on May 20, 2021. Patricia was born in Mouy, France on July 27, 1945 daughter of the late Leopold and Paulette Masurier.
“Patty” worked much of her life as a Cosmetologist of which she spent over 20 years in her beauty salon in Greenwich Woods, helping her client look and feel their best. Prior to that, she had own several music stores and was a music exporter. She was a skilled gardener, loved and rescued animals in need and enjoyed swimming in her pool.
Patricia is survived by her devoted husband German Piedrahita of Stamford, her son Thierry Young and his wife Sally of Trumbull and her step-son Roger Piedrahita of Stamford. She is also survived by a brother Jean Pierre Masurier and a sister Anne Marie Tissier of France along with her cherished grandchildren Henry, William and Genevieve.
Besides her parents Patricia was predeceased by a brother Jacques Masurier and her former husband Frederic Young.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT 06902 on Wednesday from 3:00PM to 4:00PM. A prayer service will be held at 3:30PM.
