Patrick Solimando

Patrick A. Solimando, 76, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2007 at his home in Stamford. Born on August 31, 1930 in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late John and Ursula McHugh Solimando.
Patrick was a Legal Secretary for Playtex until his retirement in 1996 after twenty-five years. He was a member of St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church and active in St. Leos RC Church Bible study group. He was also a volunteer at the soup kitchen.
He will be missed by many friends; his family the Triquets; and his nephew, Jeff Solimando of Trenton, NJ.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, John and Michael Solimando.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Monday, April 2, 2007 from 4:00 8:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 10:20 AM on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 and proceed to St. Bridget of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
