Patrick D. Sparagna, 58, of Stamford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026. Patrick was born in Greenwich, Connecticut, on April 15, 1968, to Pasquale and Victoria (Curto) Sparagna.
Pat is survived by his loving mother, Victoria Sparagna of Stamford; his brother, Frank Sparagna and his wife, Malee, of Westport; his sisters, Kelly Scorza of Monroe and Toni Ginty of Sandy Hook; his nieces and nephew, Vanessa and Francesca Sparagna, Victoria, Amanda, and Gabriella Scorza, and Nicholas Ginty. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Pat's greatest joy in life was his family and his work. He was known for his piercing blue eyes, infectious smile, and unmistakable laugh. Kind, generous, and selfless, Pat was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He quietly supported numerous charities and went above and beyond for others without expecting anything in return.Pat took great pride in the traditions that brought family and friends together. He was the annual grill master at our New York Giants tailgate, an avid gardener, and enjoyed challenging himself with Wordle and Sudoku each day. A devoted son, he never missed Thursday dinner and Sunday breakfast with his mom. He was always there to spend time with and celebrate the accomplishments of his nieces and nephew. His loyalty, compassion, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered forever.
Pat was predeceased by his father, Pasquale Sparagna, and his brother-in-law, Nicholas Scorza.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, Connecticut. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 469 North Street, Greenwich, Connecticut. Entombment will follow at St. John's Cemetery Mausoleum in Darien, Connecticut.
