Patrick Tisano

PATRICK J. TISANO, Aged 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 15, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor DeMill Tisano. Pat was born in Darien, CT on March 12, 1919 to the late Frank and Theresa Melia Tisano. He lived most of his life in Stamford, Connecticut where he was the owner of Die Craft Tool Co., Inc. and a former Board member of both The Italian Center of Stamford and of the Cornerstone Bank. He recently split time between Port St. Lucie, Florida and Brentwood, Tennessee.

He was one of seven children of the late Frank and Theresa (Melia) Tisano. He is survived by two sons: William Tisano, his wife, Kathleen Tisano and their children, Frank, Breann, Billy, Kevin and Eleanor, and John Tisano with his daughter, Christine; and two brothers and a sister; Catherine Tarantino, Peter Tisano and John Tisano.

A funeral procession will be leaving The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Cecilia,1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 9:30-10:30 AM prior to Mass.
