Paul J. Lazzaro, 58, died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, after a long illness. He was born in Stamford, CT on January 29, 1949 the son of Josephine Martorelli Lazzaro and the late Loreto Lazzaro.
Paul attended Stamford Public Schools, going on to receive an architectural degree from Pratt Institute in New York. He worked as an architect and engineering consultant in his own business.
In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by his daughter, Ariana Phillips; his sister, Joanne Hunter and her husband, Bruce; his niece, Nicole; his nephew, Alexander, all of Brookfield; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his brother, John C. Lazzaro.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, Saturday morning, May 26, 2007 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral procession will then proceed to St. Gabriel Parish, 914 Newfield Avenue in Stamford where a Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM.
