Pauline Robiconti, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 in Stamford, CT. Born September 14, 1922 in Binghamton, NY she was the daughter of the late James and Laura Melfi Costello.
Pauline lived most of her life in Binghamton, NY where she was a telephone operator at Binghamton General Hospital, until her retirement. She was also a past member of the Triple Cities Opera Co. in Binghamton, NY. She and her husband came to live in Stamford with their daughter in 2000.
She is survived by her husband, Alfonse Robiconti; a son, James Robiconti and his wife, Myra, of Tampa, FL; a daughter, Laura �"L.J. Marlin of Stamford; two granddaughters, Alexis Perry Marlin of Stamford; and Tami Maita and her husband, James, of Riverview, FL; and one great-grandson, Dominic Maita of Riverview, FL.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, on Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 5:00 7:00 PM. A service will be held at 6:45 PM with Reverend Walsh, of St. Johns RC Church, officiating. Interment will be private.
