Philip J. Gambino

Philip J. Gambino, a lifelong Stamford resident, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025. Phil was born in Stamford on August 9, 1938 to the late Joseph and Helen LaRocca Gambino and predeceased by his sister, Eugenia Gambino.
Phil was a Veteran of the Armed Services. He was a sheet metal worker for 50 years and a member of the Sheet Metal Workers' Union Local 38. He was also a member of the Stamford Racing Pigeon Club.
He is survived by his many cousins, and friends, especially many friends of the Stamford Pigeon Club.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A prayer service will begin at 12:30 PM. Interment will be private.
