Philomena Susan Hoyt, 83, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 3, 2012. She was born on October 23, 1928 in Stamford to the late Andrew and Rosemarie Bacco Romaniello.
Philomena is survived by her loving son Charles I. Hoyt and his wife Amy of Stamford and her loving daughter Medea Kopek and her husband David of Bethel ; her grandson Shane Kopek and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Philomena was predeceased by her loving husband Edison I. Hoyt, three brothers Dominick, Daniel and Joseph Romaniello and two sisters Jennie Romaniello Farrington and Marie Telesco Sullivan.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 9:00-11:00 AM with a prayer service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien.
