Ralph J. Fusco

Ralph J. Fusco, 81, died on Thursday August 17, 2006 at the Stamford Hospital. Born November 27, 1924 in Norwalk, CT, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lucy (Esposito) Fusco.
He was a retired employee for the Pfizer Pharmaceutical Corporation, having retired in 1990. He was also a United States Navy Veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific.
He is survived by his son, Joseph and his wife Debbie Fusco of Stamford; his daughter, LuAnn and her husband John Romanillo of Stamford; four grandchildren, Joanne and Jimmy Fordham and Lisa and Danielle Fusco; a great grandchild, Brianna Fordham; and a sister, Carmela English of Barefoot Bay, FL.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Lucy Viesto Fusco.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, at 10:30 AM on Monday August 21, 2006 and proceed to St. Cecilias RC Church, 1184 Newfield Avenue, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:00 10:30 AM.
