Ramon Sanchez,75 , of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Paradigm Health Care Center in Norwalk. Born in Boiro La Courena, Spain on October 3, 1937 to the late Domingo and Maria Martinez Sanchez.
Ramon was manager of maintenance at both the Greenwich and Darien Country Clubs for many years before his retirement.
Ramon is survived by his devoted wife Marcia Mac Intosh Sanchez of Stamford, his loving step-daughters Debora Faust and her husband Al, Robin Vitanza and her husband Michael; his grandchildren Michael and Nick Vitanza, Jackie and Michael Faugno all of Stamford. Also surviving are his sisters Carmen, Maria and Ramona Sanchez all of Spain.
Besides his parents, Ramon was predeceased by his brothers Manuel and Jose Sanchez.
Family and friends may call at The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Monday, October 15, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services and Interment are private.
