Richard Arthur Morrison

Richard Arthur Morrison of Stamford, Connecticut passed away on October 1, 2008 after a brief illness. He was born on April 8, 1948 in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of the late Robert Edward and Margaret Sheehan Morrison. He was a graduate of Millbrook School in Millbrook, New York and Suffolk University in Boston, MA.
Recently retired, Richard had an extensive career as a marketing and sales executive in the home furnishings industry.
He is survived by his wife, Simonetta Negrini Morrison of Stamford; brothers: Robert Morrison of Westerly, RI; Peter Morrison of Falmouth, MA; sisters: Susan Morrison Lee of Raleigh, NC; and Kathleen Morrison McCarthy of Warwick, RI.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, October 4 at 10:30 AM at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Road in Stamford. There will be no calling hours, interment will be private.
