Richard C. Nichols, a lifelong resident of Darien, CT passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Born on May 16, 1932 in Stamford, CT, he was the son of the late Frederick L. and Elizabeth Russo Nichols Sr.
Richard was the owner of Darien Typewriter Repair of Darien for twenty years.
Richard is survived by his sister, Betty Andriunas of Stamford ; his brother Donald Nichols of Spring Hill, FL and also three step daughters and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Virginia Nichols and brother Frederick L. Nichols Jr.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 11:30 AM at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien.
Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
